I write about health, science and technology for outlets such as TIME Magazine, the Washington Post, the New York Times, WIRED Magazine, Scientific American, Science Magazine and Nautilus. Previously, I was editor-in-chief and podcast host of the award-winning health journalism platform Leaps.org. These days, I write on a freelance basis, working from my home in the woods of Maryland, where I live with my family. My goal is to positively impact health and trust in science through balanced, engaging reporting. I'm represented by Pande Literary.
